Jeff White

Americana/Alt-country & Outlaw Folk from the hills of Western Wisconsin, blending warm tones, reverbs, delays & vibrato. Jeff White sings of love, loss & lust with an Americana vibe, reflecting the wide emotional spirit of human nature. Dramatic ballads, haunting love songs and bittersweet remembrance are staple themes.

Jeff began honing his songwriting skills working the red-eye shift as a taxi driver. Railroad conductors, heartbroken men and women after bar close and wild out-of-towners were all frequent riders who freely opened up about their personal lives. Their late night conversations were all inspirations to the genesis of his upcoming career as a songwriter and entertainer.

Jeff has toured the lower 48 from coast to coast as well as England, Scotland and Wales. He’s opened for Bernie Sanders, Dr. John, Mason Jennings, members of Wilco, Joe Pug, Hymn for Her, Bill Staines, and has performed alongside Phil Vassar. He has shared the stage with Justin Vernon, and has opened one of his tours at the legendary Big Top Chautauqua. He has 6 albums under his belt. One of which is with Charlie Parr & folk music legend Greg Brown.  His latest CD, ‘Renegade Revelations’ recently received a 4 star rating in The Netherlands on the alt-country review website, altcountry.nl.

In 2005, Craig began entering his paintings in state stamp contests. He has been very successful and has received several runner-up awards, as well as many First of State awards. These include: 2005 Wisconsin Great Lakes Trout Stamp, 2007 Wisconsin Inland Trout Stamp, 2008 Wisconsin Great Lakes Trout Stamp, 2008 Wisconsin Pheasant Stamp and 2009 Wisconsin Turkey Stamp. In 2009 Craig won the Colorado Waterfowl Stamp contest with his depiction of a pair of Barrow’s Golden-eyes, and also won the 2010 Wisconsin Inland Trout Stamp and the 2010 Wisconsin Waterfowl Stamp, which completed his goal of winning all five Wisconsin contests at least once. Most recently Craig won the 2013 Wisconsin Turkey Stamp and the 2013 Wisconsin Pheasant Stamp, and also runner-up the in 2015 and 2017 Wyoming Conservation Stamp contests. In 2015, Craig connected with Musky Hunter Magazine to do illustrations for their cover. Musky fishing has been a passion for Craig for many years, so the opportunity to showcase his art on the world’s premier musky magazine was a thrill. Craig’s ultimate goal is to teach art. He recently graduated from Ashford University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in social science with an education concentration. He hopes to soon be moving on to the next chapter of his life as an artist.
